This tea was originally hand-blended by Elmwood Inn Fine Teas founder Bruce Richardson while he served as the volunteer mayor of the village of Perryville, Kentucky. He first offered it to Elmwood Inn guests as Bruce's Best. When people started requesting the mayor's tea, we renamed it Mayor's Cup. For years, it was the politically correct cup of tea for our town!
