This ungraded single estate tea from the Lelsa Tea Garden looks exactly as it did when it exited the mouth of the dryer after production. That's why it's also called Dryer Mouth Tea.

What a fascinating cup of tea this is! This ungraded single estate tea from Kenya's Lelsa Estate is mountain grown.

While most black teas go through a grading process at the end of production in order to separate the leaves by size, this tea comes straight from the mouth of the tea dryer. Big leaves, little leaves, and all the bits in between can be seen here. It makes for an interesting cup of tea that will tantalize your palate as different notes appear on your tongue.

For us Kentuckians, it's like drinking bourbon straight from the barrel of one of our nearby distilleries. Exceptionally deep profile!

Takes milk very well for breakfast.

You get what you pay for

You get what you pay for. It's more expensive than Lipton's tea but also tastes considerably better. But not as good as the fair-trade organic teas from Frontier Co-op (which costs about $25/lb for English or Irish Breakfast tea). Robust black tea that goes well with milk and a touch of honey/sugar. Comes in a resealable foil bag to help preserve freshness.

This stuff is the propah cuppa. Nice, robust and fragrant. Bold, brown and beautiful. I'll be buying lots more of this.

Kenya Tea at its best!
E. Inker (United States) 4/26/2016 2:28 PM
I love it overall. Its clean and not too astringent ... I can drink it all day long and best of all, it doesn't require milk. It stands just fine by itself. Pricing for a full Lb. of Tea is not bad at all considering the quality ... Buy It!

Superb tea at a excellent price.

This tea exceeded my expectations. It has that distinctive fruity lightness which is typical of fine Kenyan tea. The price was excellent and the rough cut of the tea is perfect for mesh straining. I highly recommend this tea.
