This is our signature best-selling blend of black Chinese teas from Yunnan and Anhui Provinces. Our tea blender grew up on a farm in Kentucky and many of his earliest memories revolved around the smell of freshly plowed earth, the leather on a horse's saddle, or the hayloft of a barn. He wanted to create a tea that reminded him of those experiences. This full-bodied tea is a wonderful cup for breakfast or afternoon tea. Rich and earthy, it will remind you of a morning walk in the Kentucky countryside - thoroughbreds not included.
We private label this tea for Rick Dees Top 40 Blend.
Also available in pyramid sachets.

This is one of my two favorite teas. The other is a flavored tea from a competitor. This is the ONLY unflavored tea in my rather large collection. It makes me think (fondly) of Kentucky. I have waylaid tea drinkers in restaurants to recommend they try it. You just can’t go wrong with Kentucky Blend.

This tea is a pleasant surprise! It certainly grew on me as I came to appreciate the "return to primitive production of tea" flavor and aroma. "Kentucky strong," I would say. "Misty mountains of Kentucky." A kick in the morning that I appreciate.

This most reminds me of the Yunan teas I used to buy direct from China. What makes it distinctive is the middle notes -- it's very robust, somewhat earthy without the tinniness or acidity you sometimes find in stronger blends. I drink it over ice exclusively and in 20 years of buying high-end tea, have not found one I like better.

Using the right amount of tea and correct brewing time, produced a tea I enjoy more than Earl Grey or English Breakfast. Nice strong brew, rich flavor with no bitterness.
