Bao Zhong Oolong - Taiwan

Taiwanese Bao Zhong oolong tea is grown outside New Taipei in the Ping Ling District of Northern Taiwan. This is a classic oolong from the country that crafts some of the best oolongs in the world. Farmers from Taiwan first imported bushes and growing techniques from China's famed tea growing province Fujian during the nineteenth century. 

The name of "baozhong" tea means “wrapped” tea and refers to the former paper package style.

Like a morning walk through a mountain orchard, this high grown spring tea is fragrant with honey and peach pit notes. Best enjoyed when steeped in a small Yixing teapot over several infusions and, of course, in the presence of very good friends.
